The long lines, though, are the absolute worst part. The burger station, in particular, is pretty terrible. The pasta, salads, stir fry, sometimes soup and occasional main weekly courses can be decent.īut, as I said, sometimes the soups can be a complete hit or miss alongside the weekly main entree. Personally, I believe that not all the food options are as bad as people make them out to be. Next up, in third place, we have Busch Dining Hall, which is overcrowded at times and offers some poorly cooked food options that might make students upset. If Rutgers wanted to make Brower better, the first and only step would be to improve food quality overall. Some even go to other dining halls to avoid Brower altogether. The food served, besides the pasta station and maybe the breakfast options, is not very attractive for students. This dining hall has the feel of the District 13 bomb shelter from "The Hunger Games" - there are no windows and no fresh air.Īs a student who only visited twice, the first because I was curious last year and once again this past week for this article so that I could taste the food and talk to some other students, I can confidently say that it is not the best. My goal by the end of this article is to tell you why I believe Livingston Dining Commons is the best and why Brower is the worst.Ĭoming in last place at number four, which feels generous, we have Brower. Those are Brower Commons on the College Avenue campus, Livingston Dining Commons, Busch Dining Hall, and Neilson Dining Hall on the Cook campus. For the purposes of this article, I will not be covering these locations but will instead be talking about actual dining halls.Īnyways, at Rutgers in the Fall 2022 semester, there are four all-you-can-eat dining halls open to all students who purchased meal swipes this semester. Though, students can only use a max of three meal swipes per day at these locations. Rutgers has various retail locations, such as Cafe West on the College Avenue campus, that accept meal swipes. You can keep track of the Starbucks truck, the Knight Wagon for medieval-themed fare and the Three Chilies truck for tacos via their Twitter accounts.Īll other meal swipe locations can be found on the Rutgers Dining Services website.Hello again, and welcome to a very opinionated column that I believe - with the help of my friends and people I have asked at these dining halls - can collectively give you a really good understanding of which of the four dining halls is the best.Ī quick background check before jumping in. So far, only the Starbucks truck has been confirmed for fall 2021. Rutgers has three food trucks that rotate campuses throughout the week. to 1 p.m., so you might want to consider grabbing lunch early. Note: Meal swipes are not accepted from 12 p.m. Woody’s Cafe has all the essentials if you are a medical or pharmacy student - a prime location at the Kessler Teaching Building on Busch campus, a deli line and a variety of snacks and drinks. at the Douglass Student Center to get the most out of your meal swipe. My recommendation: Chicken black bean empanadaĬook and Douglass campuses: Douglass Cafeĭouglass Cafe is a staple on the Cook and Douglass campuses for its grill specials named after different campus sites and hot dishes for every meal. You can even use guest swipes to share the luxurious dining experience. For one meal swipe, you will receive a three-course dinner at a beautifully set table above the Livingston dining hall. Your only opportunity to use a meal swipe at this premium restaurant if you are under 21 years old (too young for a membership) will be on Monday nights with a reservation, but it’s worth it. Whether you need a quick lunch or your cookie fix, Cafe West has you covered. Located in the West Wing of the Academic Building, Cafe West has a diverse menu featuring deli sandwiches, salads, baked pasta and more. No place on the College Avenue campus is more convenient for grabbing a meal, snack or drink than Cafe West. Here are some highlights for each campus: ![]() Even though Rutgers has closed many dining locations for the fall semester, there are still several great places to go for using up your meal swipes that aren’t dining halls, whether you want a place to sit and eat or just something on the go.

I tried a couple of times using this but wasn't able to get all the countries infected and got cured really early. I think this guide is a bit outdated after all the updates and the what not. It is recommended that you evolve the transmission, symptoms and abilities stated as soon as you have the DNA to do so. My typical stats with this strategy is as follows: between 500~600 days, 40~60% Cure Completion, and a 4/5 Biohazard score(sometimes 3/5). My strategy isn't quite perfected yet since it only nets me a 4/5 biohazard score, but I always win the games I played using this strategy(4 out of 4 games won to be exact). In my previous plague guides I leaned towards the use of mutations, not in this one though. Temperatures look favorable for recovery in the next week, just make sure the turf has adequate irrigation and doesn’t dry out to ensure recovery.ĭr. This is the time when turf becomes susceptible to tracking damage.Īlthough heat tracking and wilt damage can look really bad, in almost all cases the damage is not fatal. As temperatures rise and soil moisture becomes depleted, the plant will stop transpiring and begin to heat up. Mostly it depends on soil moisture and the ability of the plant to cool itself through evapotranspiration. On some days and sites, tracking damage could occur relatively early in the afternoon, and on other sites it may happen later in the afternoon. Unfortunately, it is not always easy to tell when this damage is produced. Michigan State University Extension advises the only way to really avoid this damage is to avoid trafficking turf during the hottest time of the day when the turf is under stress. The resultant damage may look like Roundup was on the tires of the equipment, but it’s simply from traffic on turf when the turf is near wilting point. Some will misdiagnose tracking damage as being from a pesticide or fertilizer application. Often, heat tracking is the result of mowers running over the turf when it is near the wilting point, but damage can result from any traffic, whether it’s equipment or even just enough people walking the same path.
